Posting Summary: Procurement and Supplier Diversity Services within UVAFinance at the University of Virginia is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team.
The UVAFinance team recently adopted a vision to become the valued and trusted financial partner that the University community turns to first. The Senior Financial Analyst is integral to achieving this vision; he/she will be focused on providing intelligence by analyzing vast amounts of data and develop insights that can be communicated at all level of the organization. The Senior Financial Analyst will serve as a consultant to implement data strategy and provide insights that support the UVAFinance mission and vision. The Senior Financial Analyst will be a champion of lean thinking and collaboration, communicating and negotiating across organizational lines to successfully resource, budget, schedule, and scope the project. The Senior Financial Analyst must represent the UVAFinance core values: to be (1) an impeccable source of information and (2) a collaborative partner; to provide (3) service excellence and (4) communication.
The Senior Financial Analyst will research and analyze data/information to inform service improvements, policy requirements, and compliance. The Senior Financial Analyst will be the expert that the leadership team engages with to communicate with stakeholders, clients, and management.
Required qualifications include, but are not limited to: - Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent - Considerable (4+ years) of financial and/or business analyst experience
The anticipated hiring range for this position is $62,000 to $70,000 and is commensurate upon qualifications.
