We make the big deals happen. We put together major mergers and acquisitions, working across the deal's life cycle, from establishing a potential deal to sourcing deals through searches, evaluating through due diligence and offering post-deal services. We also help clients in crisis situations, enabling them to respond to regulators or preserve the value of their businesses. As an integrated deals advisor, you'll get a taste of the full spectrum, from multinational companies looking to enter the China market through acquisitions to local businesses expanding overseas.
Job Description & Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will primarily include the following:
Internal IT Specialist
Advise and implement IT solutions for the team including application development, database and infrastructure design;
Coordinate with internal IT teams for project implementation and progression;
Manage project processes, documentation, progress reporting, status meeting and escalation effectively;
Support system rollout, deployment and on-going support;
Valuation advisory professional
Assist in valuations and advisory projects including pitches to potential clients, preparation of service proposals, market research, valuation models development and preparation of valuation reports for various purposes including M&A, financial reporting, litigation, etc
It is expected that the successful candidate will eventually work as full time valuation and advisory professional if considered appropriate;
University Degree or Master holder in Information Technology, Information System, Computing Science, Statistics, Data Analytics or related disciplines;
Minimum 3 years of solid working experience in software development and business intelligence or related experience;
Solid experience on operating database server (e.g. MS SQL, Oracle, Mongo DB etc.);
Proficient in Microsoft office including Excel, Power Point, Word;
Knowledge in data visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik) is a plus;
Candidate who possess IT project management experience will be an edge.
Experience in valuation is not required;
Good communication and interpersonal skills;
Bright, team player who can work effectively under pressure and independently; and
Fluency in Chinese, English, communication and good presentation skill.
