The Economics & Country Risk group of IHS Markit is seeking a new team member to lead development of financial markets products. In the short term, this requires creation and commercialization of a new buy-side information product. Reporting to the Vice President of Product Management and Marketing, the Executive Director of Financial Markets Product Management will lead development of this new initiative leveraging our economics, country risk and commodities capabilities and will identify new opportunities for growth within the financial sector.
In the short term the PM will be expected to create a prototype of the new product which will utilize existing macroeconomic, country risk and commodities content to add insight and decision making to the buy-side. The role will lead market testing of the prototype and based on market feedback, creation of the product to take to market.
The role will have an ongoing requirement of recommending development of additional content by partnering with the Research team.
Partner with Marketing, Product Management, and Sales team on execution of the go-to-market plans

The PM will be expected to manage financial markets-focused products, create new products, and advise on content additions across the research team.
Select for clients the most relevant components of our content for delivery to the buy-side audience
Recommending development of additional content by partnering with the Research team
Drive sales by partnering with Sales team, help identify target customers, and attend customer meetings
Service existing customers by making sure they are aware of the latest research we are producing of interest to them
Connect existing customers with the researchers that can help answer their current questions.
15+ years of experience
Experience in buy-side or sell-side experience with macroeconomic research a must
