OHSU is continuing a multi-year effort to deploy population health solutions and upgrade our healthcare data warehouse. Specifically, (1) implementation of Epic Systems population health module known as Healthy Planet and its adoption by the enterprise; (2) operationalization of Epic Caboodle Data Warehouse (CDW). The Healthy Planet population health module will be deployed at OHSU in collaboration with Epic, OHSU and OHSU Partner Sites. For (1), the implementation Healthy Planet population health will include several activities, a partial list including: the development and maintenance of patient registries; integrated reporting through Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer, and Radar Dashboards; external data integration from payors and other third parties; deployment of new technologies such as Healthy Planet Link and Happy Together; and integration of both Epic-supplied and custom population health metrics. For (2), the operationalization of CDW will include OHSU\u2019s retirement of a legacy custom-built data warehouse known as OHSUDW and the transition of end user reports from IBM Cognos to Business Objects. This effort will also involve integration of 3rd party data, including other OHSU partner sites, payors, patient satisfaction data, benchmarks and more.
This position as a Healthy Planet Application & BI Analyst will (1) develop reports and dashboards utilizing Epic Reporting Workbench, Radar, SlicerDicer, and Business Objects Web Intelligence; (2) perform EpicCare system build and maintenance for Healthy Planet; (3) respond to issues and change requests submitted by Healthy Planet Population Health users and (4) deliver solutions as directed by the priorities of the Healthy Planet Program executive steering team.
