Summary: The Manager, Business Intelligence ensures thestreamlined operation of the IT Business Intelligence group in alignment withthe business objectives of the organization. Develop and implement datawarehouse strategies, along with the Database Administration and Developmentand Decision Support groups that enhance business processes anddecisions. The Manager is responsible for the daily operation and staffmanagement of the Business Intelligence team in support of the Health CareSystem.
Key management responsibilities are: coordinate withbusiness users to translate business requirements into BI reports anddashboards; assist with the design and development of new databases; design,development, test and implementation of data warehouse systems for BI reportingand analysis; create functions and procedures for BI reporting needs; datagovernance; and maintain and support BI applications and tools. TheManager will support, promote and drive implementation of best practices in theareas of business intelligence. The Manager demonstrates strong leadershipskills. The Manager will work with the Director to lead and promote effortswithin the department to help standardize work processes and understanddepartmental capacity, and promote innovation in all aspects of the team'swork. The Manager will also ensure that all BI systems, reports, and dashboardsenhance and safeguard proprietary patient, family, and employeeconfidentiality, data integrity, security, and availability to appropriatestaff.
Bachelor's degree in the field of business administration,computer science, finance, engineering, or information systems required.
Three to five (3-5) years related work experience,preferred.
Two to four (2-4) years of experience in a Health Careenvironment, preferred.
Two to five (2-5) years of management experiencepreferred.
Epic Reporting Workbench and Radar certifications preferred
Experience or certification in Epic PB and HB data modelspreferred
Experience with financial and revenue cycle reporting anddata analysis preferred
Proven experience with business and technical requirementsanalysis, elicitation, modeling, verification and methodology development.
Experience overseeing the design, development, and implementationof software, hardware, and database solutions, systems, or products; datawarehouse, interfaces, and business intelligence solution experience desired.
