The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for managing Client Service initiatives to automate and streamline current and future operational work. The position will also be responsible for leading and supporting operations tasks related to user security access, application maintenance, configuration and audit and compliance for Harvard's suite of Enterprise Financial Systems, Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS), Research Administration and Compliance Systems, Enterprise Financial Reporting Applications, and Student Information System (SIS).
Key responsibilities for this position include:
Collaborate with ATS Client Services and product teams in leading automating operations work, developing
Bachelor's degree with coursework in information systems or computer science preferred; or equivalent experience
At least four (4) years' experience working with administrative systems, preferably in business analyst capacity
Experience in analysis and reporting
Experience with business process analysis and writing business requirements documents and/or functional specification
Direct experience with business analysis tools and techniques strongly desired
Experience with business intelligence / reporting strongly desired
Solid understanding and demonstrated use of iterative development (preferably Agile) desired
Proven communications and writing ability
Demonstrated organizational skills, especially with the ability to manage and track a large number of details and facts and understand how each detail fit into the "big picture"
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume environment; willingness to do what it takes to meet critical deadlines
Adept at evaluating problems accurately and displaying sound judgment, including measured risks and timely escalation
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication skills and technical writing ability
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly
