The Social Innovation and Change Initiative (SICI) at the Harvard Kennedy School (HKS) has an immediate opening for an Operations Coordinator to join a high performing team of faculty, staff, students, and practitioners as they create and execute on projects designed to advance the field of social innovation. Minimum of 2 years of relevant administrative or operations/finance work experience
Successful candidates will possess strong analytical thinking, organizational and communication skills, the ability to prioritize and handle a wide range of tasks and projects simultaneously, strong initiative and problem-solving skills, keen attention to detail, and good judgment.
Knowledge of and interest in the field of social innovation and change is strongly preferred, as are:
Impact evaluation experience.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and independently problem-solve; to track multiple projects and deliverables; to be a self-motivated, independent, creative thinker with a point of view and the ability to lead through influence.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and G Suite. Familiarity with and/or willingness to learn Oracle Business Intelligence, Mailchimp, Wordpress, Qualtrics, Tableau, and website administration.
Commitment to social impact and data-informed decision-making.
Proven ability to establish and manage good working relationships with colleagues and collaborate effectively with a dynamic team, as well as with stakeholders at every level (including students, policy makers, faculty, and others).
