1 Year Contract, Treasury Financial Control (Business Solutions & Control)

SCOPE OF DEPARTMENT & ROLE: Treasury Financial Control function supports the Bank's global treasury activities in the areas of Valuation and Regulatory controls, Position and P&L reconciliation, P&L reporting & analysis of the financial performance of the Global Treasury (GT) business. TFC also performs independent control monitoring on the front office trading activities and supports the maintenance of GT Murex Portfolio tree. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform product monitoring and control assurance BAUs e.g. Daily reconciliation of positions, authorized product checks, internal deal and non- validated deals monitoring etc.
Develop good understanding of treasury products and accounting treatment for effective investigations on exceptions.
Maintain Murex System Portfolio Tree and mapping tables that drive reporting.
Administer review and approval of procedures, SLAs and internal risks control assessments.
Adopt best practice in adhering to control procedures and documentation to cultivate a strong sense of internal control to reduce operational risks.

Qualifications SELECTION CRITERIA:
Degree holder preferably in Business Administration or Accountancy.
Diploma holder preferably with 2-3 years experience can be considered.
Good in MS Office - Excel, PowerPoint and Visual Basic.
Experience in middle office functions supporting treasury business, familiarity with Business Intelligence tool are definite advantage.
Attention for details, meticulous, good team player with a CAN DO attitude.
