BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE (BI) ENGINEER, Information Systems and Technology (IS&T), to work closely with customers and BI analysts to turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound business decisions. Will provide accurate, congruent, reliable, and easily accessible data; educate and train customers to use the data as an analytical tool; and display the information in a new form and content for the purpose of analysis and exploring options. Responsibilities will include project/work planning; business requirements analysis; working with BI analysts to understand customer needs; analyzing business and functional requirements and translating into robust, scalable, and operable solutions; developing and implementing BI solutions; production support; quality assurance; supporting customer experiences and business results; evaluating/researching products/services; end-user training; coaching/mentoring; and additional duties as requested.
Job Requirements REQUIRED: bachelor's degree or specialized training/certifications in computer science, information systems, business management, mathematics, or related area or six years' relevant experience; five years' experience supporting a major system; knowledge of one or more business functional area(s); advanced data analysis and data mining skills and in-depth understanding of how data is utilized to support and enable key business processes; hands-on experience supporting or working with business intelligence/data warehousing environments; experience leading projects, programs, or processes; flexibility in resolving new challenges in a changing environment; analytical skills; ability to anticipate issues; strong oral and written communication skills for working effectively with people at all levels; meticulous attention to detail and accuracy; and ability to demonstrate operational agility.
