Primary Responsibilities:Gather and analyze business requirements Architect / Design Data Warehouse infrastructure and solutions Develop technical specifications and design documents Develop, enhance, integrate Data Warehouses / Data Marts and Business Intelligence Solutions Test Data Warehouses / Data Marts Deploy and Maintain Data Warehouses / Data Marts Data warehouse development and design Lead projects to build and extend the capabilities and architecture of the Oracle-based Data Warehouse Interpret business requirements; design, build and test processes to ensure a high level of data quality and optimal system performance for large volumes of data Analyze new data sources of health claims, member, clinical, and financial data for integration into existing data models Build new ETL (extract, transform and load) processes and maintain existing ETL tools using Oracle PL / SQL and UNIX technology Monitor Oracle / UNIX data warehouse ETL batch processing on daily and weekly basis Create complex data extracts from the Data Warehouse Guide, train, instruct and assist team members with technical issues and designs Understand the business and how various data elements and subject areas are utilized
Required Qualifications:3+ years of Data warehouse development and design Experience with SQL development Experience with mid - high volume ETL (100,000+ records) Strong Data Analysis skills Experience with formal System Development Lifecycle and Data Quality processes Experience with Unix Shell Scripting Preferred Qualifications:3+ years Oracle PL / SQL Healthcare data experience Experience with ETL tools such as DataStage, Talend, or Informatica Hadoop Big Data model and tools experienceCareers with UnitedHealthcare.
