IT Enterprise Business Intelligence Developer, Senior - (180000L1)
The Center for Information Technology Services (CITS), has an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Enterprise Application Developer focused on business intelligence. The selected candidate will be part of a project team tasked with developing business intelligence analytics solutions for an enterprise wide reporting application. Partnering with customers, functional business analysts, and other team members, this individual will work through the entire development life cycle for reporting solutions. They will under general direction, assist with the extract, transformation and load of data from multiple campus ERP systems into an enterprise wide data warehouse and have responsibility for design and development of analytics dashboards and reports using Oracle business intelligence tools.

Translate business requirements into specifications to implement reporting solutions that enable data-driven management practices.
Design, develop and test ETL solutions using Oracle Data Integrator integration platform, to source data from multiple campus ERP systems into enterprise data warehouse.
Design, develop and manage dashboards and reports created from multiple data sources to support decision making and planning at all levels of the university.
Develop and test transactional and ad hoc reports using OTBI and BI Publisher.
Assist with design and implementation of business intelligence processes & technology best practices and standards.
Provide technical assistance and cross training to other team members.
Assist with designing and delivering ongoing training for campus customers/end users.
Ensure system integrity and efficiency.
Communicate and coordinate with other team members to ensure project goals are met.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics or related field.
Experience: Four (4) years of experience with ERP applications and Business Analytics tools for data modeling and data analysis
Equivalent of eight (8) years combination of formal information systems/data analytics education/training and/or enterprise application development experience working with ERP Applications and Business Analytics tools for data modeling and data analysis
Experience in the full development life cycle of business intelligence and analytics and solutions.
Experience with data warehouse design and dimensional modeling.
Experience developing enterprise wide analytics reports and dashboards.
Experience integrating major ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion, PeopleSoft, Banner or EBS with reporting and business intelligence platforms using Oracle Data Integrator or similar ETL tools.
Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud, BI Cloud, OBIEE, Data Visualizer and/or similar tools.
Experience with creation of OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View and Financial Reporting Studio reports and experience with Oracle database programming including PL/SQL, DML, DDL, creating packages, functions, views and stored procedures.
Ability to understand users' enterprise reporting requirements and provide cross functional analytics capabilities.
