UC San Diego Athletics is reclassifying to NCAA Division I as a member of the Big West Conference. We are looking for a dynamic individual to develop our ticketing program. The Ticket Operations Director manages ticket operations, development of the ticketing platform, policies and procedures, including setting up venue seat mapping and digital ticketing programs for Athletic Department events. This position will manage the relationship with the selected ticketing platform and will collaborate daily with Marketing, Development and Corporate Partnerships to maximize revenue and create a comprehensive ticketing campaign. This will include cultivating current, past, and new individual and group prospects to generate sales, as well as participating in ongoing efforts to increase the use of data analytics and business intelligence to discover new revenue opportunities.
The incumbent reports to the Associate AD for Corporate Partnerships & Sports Administration, and will provide an efficient sales process, good fiscal practices and exceptional customer service. The Ticket Operations Director will have a strong working knowledge and understanding of NCAA rules relating to ticketing and revenue generation. . The incumbent will follow the athletic philosophy consistent with that of the UC San Diego Athletic Department and NCAA, and a commitment to diversity in all of its forms.
