The Business Intelligence Developer I works closely with the Business Analyst to design and implement well-formed Business Intelligence (BI) solutions integrated to the enterprise data warehouse and data marts including self-service capabilities supporting data mining, ad hoc reporting and advanced analytics. Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, health care business or equivalent experience required. Master's degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum: 1+ years of relevant experience required. Microsoft Power BI experience.
Minimum: 1 year working with enterprise data sources and BI tools.
Preferred: Financial and healthcare knowledge. Working knowledge and experience with Epic and/or the Enterprise data warehouse.
Experience supporting technical service delivery relationships. Experience translating minorly complex business needs into designs and specifications. Experience managing projects, testing and quality control. Experience supporting application users. Experience with Business Intelligence tools, which may be SAP or equivalent. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications such as Office, Project, Visio, SharePoint.
Strong verbal and written communication skills demonstrating proper business use of grammar and punctuation.
Strong presentation skills clearly conveying information, ideas, concepts, and instructions to a variety of audiences.
Meeting management skills including agendas, facilitation, minutes and time management
Negotiation skills to resolve conflict and build cooperation.
