The Strategic Initiatives Associate Director, Program Manager for Business Intelligence Reporting and Data Warehouse is a key leadership role that plays an integral part of the UHC Community and State Organization. The Healthcare Business Program Manager works closely in a matrixed environment with teams from Business Intelligence, Information Technology, Business Program and Health Plan teams to deliver services that ensure project delivery. The candidate should be working towards or have achieved certification in project management (PMP). They will provide subject matter expertise in areas including project management, risk identification, project methodology, facilitation, budget and resource management and other areas of expertise. In this role you will: Manage a team of 4 project managers and oversee the full life cycle of 20-30 Business Intelligence Projects that include business data warehouse and operational and regulatory reporting that on average have a $4M Capital Spend. Be the point of contact partner with IT, Business Program Team and the health plan leads to mitigate program risks, manage project intake, manage program budget and resource management. Be the Stakeholders point of contact and present executive updates on program risks, funding, and overall status as needed. This is not an IT project manager role. Required Qualifications:Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience 2+ years of Program management experience using data and information to make business decisions Demonstrable experience in managing the work of other project managersAdvanced level of proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) & Data Base Tools, including data management, pivot tables, data lookup, and macros Mastery of MS Project Demonstrated capability of managing multiple projects at the same time. Note: in this role, you will be responsible for monitoring the health of up to 20-30 concurrent projectsMastery of performance and control measurement systems to ensure successful delivery through the identification of earned value, effort and cost tracking, resource allocation, risk analysis, and other KPI's associated with ensuring project performanceChange management subject matter expertiseExtensive presentation experience with the most senior leaders in your current organization Previous experience leading Agile Projects and/or Six SigmaPreferred Qualifications:PMP Certification Healthcare experienceProven track record of successfully leading enterprise-scale, complex programsDemonstrated ability to achieve goals in a matrix environment Proven ability to build relationships cross-functionally and lead toward common goals Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence others Effectively communicate at all levels of the organization Excellent oral and written communications skills Strong initiative and self-motivation Ability to absorb a wide breath of information from multiple initiatives Excellent communication, collaboration, team building and relationship management skills Capable of gaining support for initiatives through influence and use of business rationaleSuperior negotiation skills and your ability to get commitments from stakeholders who work on internet timeCareers with UnitedHealthcare.
