Advisory Manager, FM Operations (Multiple Positions), PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory Services LLC, McLean, VA. Help clients optimize all elements of their finance organization, including operating model design, sustainable cost reduction, financial planning and analysis, management reporting, financial systems architecture, and full scale finance transformation. Assist C-level executives identify, design and implement programs that transform their finance function to meet business requirements, and provide value added insights. Apply knowledge of core operating environments of finance functions for a wide range of companies – start-ups through large, multinational organizations. Improve companies’ transactional and decision support processes, enhance underlying technologies, and refine organizational designs required to make each individual process more effective and operate in an efficient manner.
Manage engagement teams, provide coaching and feedback in a timely manner. Establish and maintain client relationships. Develop a market presence.
40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field, plus 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience; OR a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field plus 3 years of related work experience.
Must have at least one year of experience in each of the following:
- Advising global organizations on improving efficiency and effectiveness in transaction processing, close and consolidation, budgeting and forecasting, and internal and external reporting;
- Performing process improvements in, and applications of at least one of the following focus areas: shared service and outsourcing; finance transformation; performance management; financial systems optimization; and/or talent management;
- Using Business Intelligence and performance management software tools; and
- Identifying, obtaining and processing critical data (e.g. benchmarks) to challenge the status quo through innovative thought leadership in the application of standard industry practice solutions for high performing finance functions, including: internal and external reporting; people and organization structures; performance management, budgeting and forecasting capabilities; cash flow optimization and use of capital; and maintenance and building of cost-effective controls.
Travel up to 80% is required.
