Our Client, a leading provider of technology services to residential and commercial customers across the United States, is currently seeking candidates for a full-time BI Developer position. This individual will plan, design, code, test, debug, and configure business intelligence application systems and/or data warehouse development solutions. Gathers requirement for, designs, develops, and supports Microsoft BI content, which may include reports, cubes, tabular models, packages, dashboards, and presentation portals
Work with cross-functional team members to recommend technical solutions to business issues and/or system issues
Provides support to assigned business unit(s) for ad hoc data requests
Trains and coaches non-technical business users on data analysis, modeling, and visualization techniques
Makes recommendations for more efficient troubleshooting and issue resolution
Provides assistance and routine consultation to internal business users of applications
Works with Business Analyst/Systems Analyst to estimate new system issue resolution or package implementation efforts
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred
2+ years’ experience developing BI applications with large scale deployment
2+ years’ experience with Microsoft Business Intelligence platform, Microsoft BI Tool Suite (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)
2+ years of SQL Server, SQL programming (advanced skills)
Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPivot, SharePoint, PowerView, Power BI
Strong knowledge of Tabular and Multi-Dimensional Data Models; Star schema modeling a plus
