Challenge yourself, your peers and our industry by shaping what health care looks like and doing your life's best work.(sm) Position SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Applications Development Consultant for our Basking Ridge, NJ location to Responsible for partnering with project teams and interacting with customers to find solutions for projects and operational issues related to existing and proposed data warehouse environments. Acts as a business liaison and serves as the primary point of contact between application, business segments and solution delivery teams. Translates highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences. Interacts with infrastructure and data architect teams to build suitable models and focus on Solution Design, ETL Architecture, Development, Implementation and Delivery. Reviews and provides enhancements to logical and physical database and data warehouse designs and optimizes designs for proper use with BI Platforms. Provides hands-on support with database technologies such as Teradata, Oracle and SQL Server, including database definition, design and documentation. Provides standardization and consistency across environments. Use experience with data warehouse methodology, design and implementation. Responsible for unix shell scripting and scheduling of jobs using tools such as TWS, Control M, Dollar U. Uses the following technologies: relational databases, NoSQL/unstructured databases; data modeling; ETL Tools including Data Stage, SSIS and Informatica; Business Intelligence tools including Crystal Reports and Business Objects.
QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience. Will accept experience gained concurrently Must have 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience with each of the following: 1) Data warehouse methodology, design and implementation; 2) Databases including Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server; 3) ETL Tools including Data Stage, SSIS and Informatica; 4) Business Intelligence tools including Business Objects; and, 5) Experience with unix scripting and scheduling of jobs using tools such as TWS, Dollar U.
