Job responsibilities will include a commitment to Finish in Four initiatives, assisting with transfer student populations successful degree attainment, and Partway Home student degree completion. The position will coordinate initiatives that are developed where Registrar staff involvement are needed (i.e. degree works initiatives, conversations about changes to registration processes, scheduling/using degree works plans to identify course needs for future terms, etc.). As an integral part of the success of the transfer student population, this position will have oversight of baccalaureate plans developed for successful navigation between the North Carolina Community College System and UNC institutions. This position will also investigate and over time implement degree plans for other NCCCS degree programs with articulation agreements and will develop knowledge of Reverse Transfer, and the Comprehensive Articulation Agreement with the North Carolina Community College system. The Partway home student population will be another focus of this position, as the individual will work to identify solutions before the student leaves the institution (working specifically with students in their last year of their degree program, who have a hurdle to overcome towards their degree – specifically, looking for solutions to missing General Education requirements, assisting departmental representatives in reviewing records for major GPA deficiencies, reviewing the individual's record to determine if they may be eligible for the forgiveness policy, etc.). The position will also work with academic units to identify former students and solutions for them, that allow the student to graduate as quickly as possible.

A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, social or behavioral sciences, or other relevant area is required. All degrees should be from appropriately accredited institutions. Three years of experience in strategic planning and assessment, well-developed skills in process improvement, business intelligence solutions, and excellent written and interpersonal communication skills are required.
