Position Overview: The Quality Assurance Analyst will have primary responsibility for designing and executing test plans that verify the accuracy of data and functionality provided through Business Intelligence applications and adhoc data requests. The role will work collaboratively across AA&D to understand common data needs and document data business definitions and sources for reference by the BI team, school BI Developers, and other staff.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions*):
Design and execute clear, well-formed, and effective test plans ensuring accuracy and completeness of applications against business requirements
Identify, troubleshoot, debug, and work with the developers to resolve defects
Provide meaningful feedback to peers during design and testing periods
Seek to identify root causes for issues and works with appropriate parties to bring about defect resolutions
Follow standard processes for user acceptance testing of new application or features
Validate data accuracy in ad hoc data extracts and analysis
Write scripts to test data applications against underlying data or other reporting tools
Produce documentation that is compliant with QA documentation standards
Execute tests for user experience and accessibility testing
Contribute content to the business glossary documentation

Graduate from an accredited college with a Bachelor's degree required, preferably with coursework in information systems or information technology. Minimum of four (4) years of experience on technical/ implementation team. Minimum two (2) years of experience in a role with Quality Assurance/Systems Analyst Responsibilities
Knowledge of fundraising data and academic communities preferred.
Experience testing applications built with highly visual analytics software, like QlikView, QlikSense or Tableau, is a plus.
Experience writing basic SQL queries is a plus
