Brief Description of Duties: The Information Technology Data Analyst is responsible for providing IT support to the Stony Brook Foundation. The incumbent develops and manages Oracle Cloud and all other computer systems and the system upgrade, monitors data integrity of financial systems, assists with financial reporting and data analysis, develops and maintains financial systems user manual, works with other business units and university wide units responsible for systems management to obtain, understand, and interface financial data, and researches industry best practices in data mining and financial regulatory data requirements. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following duties: Reporting and System Support: Provide IT support to the Foundation staff for Oracle Cloud functionality and capability along with supporting systems implemented by the Foundation. Develop and manage Oracle Cloud system and the system upgrade. Assist with financial reporting and data analysis. Develop and maintain data entry and import procedures to ensure consistency of the database. Operations Support: Develop and maintain financial systems user manual. Manage Oracle Cloud's interfaces with various applications such as banking activities, employee records, electronic report and authorized signatures and Raiser's Edge. Instruct users in the creation of financial reports and queries via Oracle Hyperion Financial Reporting Studio and Oracle Reporting Tools. Monitor the performance of Oracle Cloud and installed systems and prepare recommendations for improvements and enhancements.
