And you'll do your life's best work.(sm) The Reporting Consultant position will focus on supporting the UHC Concept Research Team & the Commercial Concept Research Team by evaluating, maintaining, and developing all reports within the Concept Development Tableau Suite to meet the continual reporting needs of the teams. The role requires strong reporting skills to create new, edit existing & improve current reports to meet internal team, partner and client's needs. The role requires utilizing all reporting tools (i.e. SAS, Tableau, etc). The consultant position also requires excellent communication skills in partnership with our partners & client in order to understand the reporting needs. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Required Qualifications:3+ years of experience in healthcare 3+ years of data experience working with large datasets / big data 3+ years of data analysis / programming experience Experience analyzing and manipulating unstructured data sets Experience using Tableau Reporting and / or other similar visualization software Experience with SAS Programming Experience with SQL coding Ability to breakdown a complex problem into individual root causes Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)Preferred Qualifications:Experience communicating with senior level business leaders and stakeholders Knowledge of UHC systems as well as desktop applications Software engineering experience (e.g. Java, OO design principles) Experience with other Business Intelligence Tools like Cognos, TOAD Bachelor's degree and / or Master's degreeCareers with Optum.
