Join us and help people live healthier lives while doing your life's best work.(sm) As Business Intelligence Technical Lead, you will have responsibility for gathering end-user report specifications and creating reports and analytics in support of March Vision's internal and external customers, as well as maintaining the integrity of our standard report library and publishing reports to the Crystal Reports Server. You will also provide technical and supervisory leadership to a small team of crystal report developers. You will get to apply proven communication, analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills to resolve business issues and develop more efficient business processes. Primary Responsibilities:Coordinates meetings with internal and external customers, draws out information needed to create report specifications and develops time/cost estimatesManages multiple concurrent report requestsProvides technical and team leadership in managing tickets and creating innovative solutionsPerforms quality assurance testing prior to releasing reports to productionMaintains Crystal Reports Server and our standard report libraryProvides end-user training and support on BI LaunchpadProvides expert level user support in the research and resolution of complex data issues
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or an additional 3 years of work experience in a business setting5+ years of report development experience; preferably in managed health care or finance industries3+ years of experience with managing or leading people or projects (providing technical and supervisory leadership)Advanced or higher level of proficiency with Crystal Reports OR similar reporting/analytical tool like SSRS. (Should have the ability to perform UFLs, custom functions, stored procedures, sub-reports, group selection formulas, loops, variables, evaluation times and performance considerations.)Intermediate or higher level of proficiency with SQL ServerPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Quest AnalyticsProficiency with Business Intelligence Launch PadProficiency in testing/debugging reports and SQL statementsDemonstrated ability to communicate ideas clearly and concisely to all levelsExcellent attention to detail, time management, organizational, and prioritization skillsGreat team player and enthusiasm for working with othersCareers with MARCH® Vision Care.
