Under the supervision of the manager, the BI Analyst is responsible for supporting the organization's business intelligence needs by implementing data management, reporting and analytics solutions. The individual will participate in gathering business needs, documenting requirements, identifying data sources and data elements, developing Business Intelligence components, and delivering solutions. The individual will also be involved in data and report interpretation and the design and implementation of data warehouse, dashboards, scorecards, and interactive reports.

Implement data integration and business intelligence solutions that adheres to the organization's internal standards and industry best practice.
Analyze information delivered to identify trends, issues, or interesting findings.

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Services, or related fields; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience

Ability to interact with business users of all levels and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
Experience in database and programming.
In-depth knowledge in the Structured Query Language (SQL).
Experience in report development.

Excellent oral and written communications skills with the ability to present technical and business solutions concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences from a business perspective.

Understanding of the healthcare workflow, clinical process, and data flow.
Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record systems.
Experience with one or more reporting tools such as SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), SAP Business Objects, and/or Crystal Reports.
Exposure to data warehouse concept and data extract, transform, and load (ETL) process.
Knowledge of ETL tools such as SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
