The PHC Information Technology Division supports our community-focused healthcare system with 18 primary care facilities, 3 hospitals, home health care, hospice services, long term care and senior residence communities, health and a fitness center. We have attained national recognition for our pioneering approach to business intelligence and population health management. We were the first system to use Epic's Cogito data warehouse in a production environment which afforded our ACO a method for managing their population's health. We have successfully attested for Stage 1 of meaningful use for our hospitals and physicians, as well as have attained Stage6 designation on the HIMSS Analytics EMR Adoption Model (EMRAM). We continue to be a leader in providing effective technology in support of our organization's healthcare strategies.
Hours: Monday - Friday normal business hours with additional hours as needed. Participation in team's on call rotation required.

The Principal Trainer works closely with the Epic analysts, credential trainers, and operational leaders in all aspects of the system training. Responsible for the development of application curriculum and training during project implementations, upgrades, and optimization within one or more Epic application groups. Work as a member of the Epic application teams and are responsible for credentialing end user trainers including maintaining training materials and training environments.
May also be responsible for assisting end users to understand workflows impacted by use of Epic, assisting to achieve targeted best practice outcomes and optimization goals, and to help with identified process changes. Between training activities, may focus on the analysis, testing, implementation, and support activities for their designated modules and maintaining a link to assigned end users to ensure the system furthers the enterprise's goal of excellent patient care and supports quality initiatives.
