Primary Responsibilities:Leading large scale growth and migration implementation projects to completion performing all required project management activities including project scope definition, risk identification, project methodology, resource allocation, facilitation, and other areas of expertise based on established project management techniquesServing as liaison between the Business Intelligence team and all other functional areas which includes leading or attending all project related status and implementation meetingsForecasting and tracking budgets for all assisted projects along with supporting the Associate Director with estimating and requesting fundingMaking presentations to management or others on project updates, project cycle, and expected results as neededPrioritizing and organizing assigned work to ensured projects are completed on time and in scopeUsing pertinent data and facts to identify and solve a range of problems within area of expertise along with investigating non - standard requests and problems that arise during Leading and contributing to continuous process improvements and team innovation
Required Qualifications:BA / BS degree in Health Care Administration, Accounting, Finance, Business or related field 4+ years of project management experience 2+ years of experience acting as a Project Manager using PMI standards1+ years of healthcare experience 1+ years managing project or operating budget(s)Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePointOrganized, detailed oriented, self - starter who works independently, manages projects with little oversight, and can lead multiple projects at the same timeEffective communicator who can work with individuals at all levels and at varying locations including offshore sitesPreferred Qualifications:PMP Certification Reporting (Crystal, SQL) & Data Warehouse experience Planview and / or Clarity experienceExperience working Medicaid, Medicare or managed care experience as part of a Virtual Team Careers with UnitedHealthcare.
