– Eight years' relevant experience. Associate Degree with Six years' relevant experience. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field with four years relevant experience. Relevant specialized IT training and/or IT certifications may be considered towards minimum qualifications. Equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience will be considered.

Experience with database warehouses
Must have supported SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL databases as a DBA

Understand the components of a database environment such as storage, servers, network, firewall and backup solutions and can architect systems for database solutions
Experience managing database security especially to ensure compliance with regulations such as HIPAA, FERPA and PCI
Proficient with Windows and Linux operating systems
Experience with high availability and disaster recovery solutions
Ability to participate in off-hours support on a rotating schedule

Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or related field with four to seven years of technical experience (DBA tasks).
Master degree in Computer Science or related area of study with at least four years of DBA experience
MSSQL database administration with T-SQL, SSIS and SSRS
Experience analyzing and debugging SQL queries
Designing and creating database objects
Ability to troubleshoot complex performance issues
Windows and Linux experience
Data warehouse experience
Data analysis and reporting experience
Business Intelligence experience Equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience will be considered.
