Primary Responsibilities:Intake reporting requests, understand requestor's needs/intent, and produce informative, meaningful and actionable results Create, analyze, and summarize ad-hoc and/or recurring reports Run reports and build queries in Online Reporting and other business intelligence systems Investigate claims to validate client benefit setup and identify errors Research and analyze data sets to identify patterns and trends such as client performance, drug spend, member utilization, formulary disruptions Assess reporting results through data investigation, analysis, trending, and evaluation Provide analytical explanations, interpretations, and recommendations for data results Assume responsibility for data integrity and ongoing quality control of delivered reports Create and maintain documentation outlining methodologies, analysis process, and findings/conclusionsCore Competencies Excellent attention to detail and accuracy (specifically focused on calculations, interpretation, and presentation) Must be able to manage time efficiently and prioritize effectively Ability to work in a dynamic setting and work well under pressure is essential Analytical thinker, with ability to quickly grasp complex issues and problem solve Strong organizational skills to track requests and deliverables, and meet deadlines Adaptable to work independently and in a group setting to achieve overall departmental goals Dedication to make continuous improvements in all areas of responsibility Focus on quality and accuracy of own work
