SoundCom, is seeking a Clinical Application Specialist, RN preferred for our Cincinnati, Ohio Office with the ability to travel to Lower Peninsula Michigan.
SoundCom, has a long history of providing hi-tech excellence to clients in the Healthcare, Educational and Commercial communities throughout the state of Ohio, Michigan and Pennsylvania. We are an authorized distributor for Rauland nurse call systems. As a certified installer we provide services to healthcare environments from inception to completion. Our nurse call solutions utilize open architecture technologies with other systems such as wireless phones, locating systems, electronic staffing and electronic medical records (EMR) systems. SoundCom provides professional design, engineering, installation and service of audio and video networks and telecommunication systems.
Education / Experience Requirements: •Minimum 1 year performing instructional training/demonstrations and presentations in-person or remotely. •Registered Nurse preferred (ADN ok) •Excellent instructional skills with demonstrated proficiency in both oral and written communication. •Excellent planning and organizational skills, ability to gather and convey product specification design aspects and clinical workflows •Demonstrates ability to learn and use advanced authoring and data management tools, and other innovative planning and educational solutions for product and process support. •Ability to retrieve, manage and support various data management solutions and dashboards, provide customer support and product optimization •Experience and proficient in Microsoft Office, design, presentation, and publishing software. •Previous background in the Hospital/LTC industry preferred.
Physical Requirements: •Ability to travel to customer locations and remote facilities in Ohio and Michigan as needed . •Ability to travel out of town for education, conferences, site visits etc.
Skills: Communication is a key component of this position, candidate should have excellent communication skills both written and oral. Must have the ability to speak effectively before external groups of customers and employees within the organization. Candidate must have the ability to read and interpret technical documents and manuals. Prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting established deadlines is a critical attribute. Overview of Responsibilities: *Educate healthcare personnel, nursing staff, and informatics professionals on how to operate associated electronic clinical communications software/hardware.
*Create training materials using a variety of authoring software, including video learning. Provide reference guides to end-users.
*Organizes and direct configuration/programming/testing processes for the various systems software/hardware.
*Meet with lead technicians on site after complete installation to become familiar with facility and review system(s) in preparation for education and Go Live.
*Provide Post Installation follow up and continued customer education on a planned and regular basis, particularly in Business Intelligence software programs and data management.
*Maintain and up-to-date training log of individuals trained as well as any other documentation required.
*Daily travel is required to job sites, hours may vary depending on customers’ needs.
*Attend new product launch meetings to become familiarized with new products.
*Provide educational and optimization support to customers and end users on systems installed.
