The Business Analyst role is an advanced staff position working under the direction of the EMR Reporting Team supervisor. The Business Analyst is responsible for project management duties directly supporting enterprise business Intelligence applications, specifically Clarity, Epic Data Warehouse, Business Objects, and Tableau applications. The Business Analyst will be expected to develop documentation reflecting system design modifications, maintenance, enhancement functionality, and project status updates.Responsibilities include: planning, development, testing and training of custom application functionality. The Business Analyst will work with cross-functional teams and end users along with Senior and Executive Stakeholders to ensure appropriate workflow development, testing and training of application functionality.In addition, the Business analyst must establish customer service-oriented relationships with internal and external customers.REQUIRED--Knowledge of reporting tools and experience in business or clinical process improvement initiatives. --Experience participating in an implementation of an activity or strategy in a department, hospital or system environment.--Experience using advanced application learning principles and system design standards.--Experience organizing and communicating thoughts logically and develop insightful conclusions.--Experience exercising independent judgment and personal initiative and accept responsibility for decision and actions.PREFERRED--Proficient in office automation software (word processing, spreadsheets, visual presentation, etc.)SPECIAL REQUIREMENT - THIS POSITION MAY BE SUBJECT TO A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION, DRUG SCREEN, LIVE SCAN FINGERPRINTING, MEDICAL EVALUATION CLEARANCE, AND FUNCTIONAL CAPACITY ASSESSMENT
