Drives physician network operations toward better health, better care and lower costs. Provides operational oversight to clinical program development and integration of the Trinity Health employed physician networks to optimize performance, experience of care, and reduce the amount of variation within the employed medical groups across the system, leveraging industry leading practices to build standardization and consistency. Leads optimal clinical integration and infrastructure development to improve current performance and position physician networks to serve in the innovation of emerging care delivery models and management under at-risk and other value-based payment arrangements. Co-designs, implements, and oversees the management of initiatives and programs that drive best in class clinical, operational and financial performance of employed physician practices to achieve Trinity Health’s strategic plan.

Required: MD or DO degree; Extensive experience leading and managing physician practice operations typically in role as CMO/COO; Board Certification
Desired: MBA, MMM, MPH or similar degree
Minimum of 10 years clinical practice and minimum of 5 years in senior operational role preferably in large health system or multi-specialty group practice.
Strong financial acumen and understanding of financial and strategic leadership of health care systems.
Strong knowledge of physician practices operations of all specialties including primary care, specialty care, and hospital based.
Excellent understanding of both current and future health care economic and funding models and bridge strategies for moving from volume to value. Working knowledge of new payment models including Bundled Payments for Care Improvement, Accountable Care Organizations, Medicare Shared Savings Programs, and full risk models is desirable.
Expertise in implementation and selection of software applications including EMR, care management applications, and business intelligence software.
Strong change leadership skills and excellent speaking and written skills.
Formal training and/or extensive experience in lean process improvement methodology is preferred.
