The Graham School of Business is seeking qualified applicants for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor of Information Systems and Cybersecurity position beginning in August 2018. The Assistant Professor of Information Systems and Cybersecurity will initially be responsible for teaching courses in the information technology management and cybersecurity areas at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Depending on the individual's interests and expertise, the person may teach additional courses in the business analytics area including business intelligence, business analytics, and database management.
The candidate should have both expertise in teaching and demonstrable potential scholarly activity, as well as service to our college community. Â An earned PhD, DBA or international equivalent from an accredited university in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a closely related discipline by the start of the initial contract period is preferred. An appropriate background might also include extensive professional experience and a Master's Degree with a willingness to obtain a Ph.D. prior to becoming tenured or ABD status. The candidate should have a primary interest in information systems management, with knowledge of one or more of the following topics including information security and privacy, business intelligence, data warehousing or project management. Additional expertise in information systems disciplines such as database administration or programming is also desired. Relevant teaching, consulting, or work experience in information security, security auditing, penetration testing, business resumption planning, or information security related project management is preferred. Professional credentials such as a CISSP certification is a plus.
