The Sr. Financial Analyst provides actionable historical and forward-looking financial information, analysis, and business insight to senior management of the International marketing and operations teams in support of their efforts to achieve revenue and profitability goals. Includes timely and accurate financial forecasting, budgeting support and tracking, and decision support through ad-hoc analysis and scenario modeling. Contribute to evaluations of new business development opportunities with analysis and modeling of the International business potential of such opportunities.
Essential Job Functions
Establish strong working relationships with International marketing and operations senior management and staff, remain current on growth initiatives and projects, and provide proactive analysis of and insight into past performance and current trends to help drive growth and profitability.
Leverage advanced Microsoft Excel skills as well as enterprise financial and business intelligence technology tools to gather, organize and present financial and operational data used to generate timely, insightful and actionable reporting on actual performance, budgets, accurate rolling forecasts, and business scenario models.
Serve on multi-faceted project teams formed to evaluate potential new business development opportunities, continued expansion of International tours and live events, company-wide technology implementations, and business process improvement opportunities.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency across the Company and proactively communicate suggestions for consideration as appropriate.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director/International Finance.
BS in Corporate Finance, Business Management, or Accounting required.
MBA preferred but not required depending on experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in financial planning, analysis and/or reporting in a corporate environment with significant international operations exposure.
Strong verbal and written communication and relationship-building skills, and a desire to develop a deep understanding of the operations and needs of the business.
Advanced Microsoft Excel modeling skills, and experience with enterprise-level business intelligence reporting tools/systems preferred.
Multiple language abilities are a plus.
Advanced Microsoft Excel modeling required, Microsoft Access experience a plus.
IBM Cognos TM1 experience a plus.
Enterprise-level business intelligence/reporting experience, QlikView a plus.
Excellent overall analytical ability, critical thinking, and ability to model large data sets.
Ability to work on a project basis within aggressive deadlines while maintaining recurring reporting/analysis requirements.
Flexibility to interact and communicate with Feld staff and management located in other parts of the world accounting for time zone differences.
