The Department of Financial Information Systems at the University of Pittsburgh is seeking a qualified Oracle Developer. The incumbent will collaborate with end users to identify the needs and opportunities for creating and enhancing business analytics and reports.
The Oracle Developer will be responsible for the following duties: - Analyze user needs to develop specifications and document solutions to fulfill business requirements. - Design and build queries, reports, and dashboards using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) established frameworks and standards. - Perform basic ETL development activities related to loading data using Oracle ODI. - Assist management in the development of project plans, timelines, and documentation. - Lead client demonstrations and requirement gathering meetings. - Review application prototypes and functionality enhancements.
Minimum Related Experience Level Required
5-6 years experience
Additional Education and/or Experience Essential to the Position
Bachelor's degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Business or related field including 5-6 years reporting, analytics and data warehouse experience. Knowledge of database concepts, systems architecture and data structures. Proficient with SQL and Advanced Excel, Experience with Oracle DBMS. Experience working with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) preferred. General Accounting or HR applications experience preferred but not required.
