Radiology Analytics Project Manager:Work with department leadership and clinical managers to better understand and utilize personnel, finance, and operational data. This includes building, maintaining, validating, or analyzing data sets or databases of faculty information, clinical operation data, patient safety and quality audits, and volume or finance data. The Project Manager also collaborates with the business intelligence analytics (BIA) team, patient satisfaction committee, and the quality initiative team in both an administrative and analytics capacity.Project Management: Work with leadership to complete, and improve where possible, existing projects such as the bi-weekly Press Ganey patient satisfaction survey report; monthly volume report of clinical procedures; quality initiative dashboard; Risk Management event report categorization and summary; turnaround time report; preforming or aggregating patient safety and quality audit data. Design and request custom data reports from Hospital IT, validate data, and develop insightful reports for leadership. Participate in various special projects such as a multivariate analysis of throughput data collected by clinical managers. Respond to various national surveys for the Department providing required analytics. The Project Manager also works closely with the BIA team to create and maintain custom automated dashboard and scorecards for end-users in the department. In the course of completing these tasks, the Project Manager must have a strong command of PACS, Illuminate and Illuminate Analytics, the BIA portal, Oracle, and EPIC applications and search functions while maintaining strict adherence to all laws and policies pertaining to protected health and personal information. Coordinate interdepartmental initiatives such as new program development.Decision Support: Generate ad-hoc reports regarding clinic, modality, physician, or procedure volume to elucidate a clearer picture of events and ongoing patterns in the revenue cycle or clinic operations. This requires collaboration with clinical managers, faculty, billing and finance personnel, departmental and hospital IT, and other partners as needed.Software Utilization & Methods Support: Support staff in utilizing Illuminate, Illuminate Analytics, PACS, and other database search functions, making the strengths, weaknesses, and idiosyncrasies of each system readily known. Advise on various methodological approaches to big data, survey, and qualitative analyses and responsible hypothesis testing. Mentor staff on advanced uses of MS Office applications, notably Excel.Web Media Content: Maintain the department's University of Chicago website, which includes (but is not limited to) the creation promotional stories about faculty achievements and educational events; keeping faculty and section information current; assisting various department personnel with developing special interest pages; working with University IT to resolve any technical issues. The website's Google Web Analytics account is also monitored weekly to note how traffic arrives at the website, what pages are most frequently viewed, and what links are not active.Organizational Support: Participate in committees and development actives as applicable.
