Position Summary: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Coordinator.
In this role, the successful candidate The Project Coordinator will support the Comprehensive Transfer Center (CTC) goals by contributing to the development, implementation and success of department, interdepartmental, hospital-wide and health system projects and initiatives.
Plan and manage interdepartmental projects as determined by CTC leadership
Assemble and maintain project plans and documentation of project progress using standardized project management tools, in accordance with NYU Langone Health guidelines
Manage project meetings using project plans to meet key deadlines and ensure progress on the project
Monitor project progress, tracking key milestones, using Microsoft Project Professional and/or other project management tools to meet the customer needs
Conduct data analysis to support project planning and decision making
Manage CTC tableau dashboards, including production of monthly reports or scorecards, development of new metrics, reports, etc.
Provides administrative support to CTC led meetings, including minutes, agendas, reminders, and follow-up action items
Build and promote positive working relationships with all stakeholders, internal and external
Coordinate project communication with impacted areas across the enterprise
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications: To qualify you must have a Bachelors degree At least two years experience managing projects Demonstrated ability to lead and support a wide array of projects to successful conclusion Excellent analytical, research, organizational skills, confidence, versatility and initiative Strong computer skills and facility with Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Project; familiarity with other databases and analytic tools a plus Excellent written and oral communication skills, with demonstrated ability to adapt tone and style for broad and diverse audiences Basic knowledge and understanding of the health care industry
Preferred Qualifications: Masters degree in health care related field with at least two years of progressive health care experience Knowledge of Tableau business intelligence and analytics software Willingness to pursue Project Management Institute certification Knowledge of project management tools, methods, and best practices such as those defined by the Project Management Institute (PMI)
