To manage assigned Operation personnel, with full accountability for client satisfaction, operational activities, and profitability, for specific clients, or specific functional responsibilities. Reviews and analyses revenue cycle reports and provides recommendations as warranted. Has direct responsibility for four or more Supervisors. Manager will be responsible for up to $100 million in revenue or higher.
Manage assigned operational responsibilities toward the identified company objectives of client service and profitability.
Function effectively with team members working on assigned accounts to define and deliver consistent, thorough service.
Execute operational goals and monitor the performance of Operation personnel in achieving these goals
Develop operational business methods and quality assurance commitments with Operations personnel to deliver client service corresponding to client expectations.
Maintain regular contact with clients, continually inquiring about any client difficulties and responding with quality service in a timely manner.
Operations and Efficiency
Provide leadership for assigned areas by modeling the tone, goals and expectations for operational performance established by the VP of Operations.
Implement and monitor operational business methods consistent with corporate policy, productivity, cost efficiency and profitability standards defined by the VP of Operations.
Follow up with Operations personnel as appropriate and necessary to ensure that agreed-to directions and goals are being followed; hold Operations Supervisors’ accountable for results.
Directs and manages daily operation of departmental billing office to ensure all charges are processed, billed, and collected accurately and in a timely manner.
Analyzes, recommends, and implements policies and procedures as needed to maximize reimbursement for all services rendered in compliance with established third party guidelines and client policy.
Coordinates billing and collection efforts with Clients, affiliated institutions, all other third party payers, and other applicable departments.
Acquires and maintains thorough knowledge of Federal and State Legislative and Administrative action affecting physician reimbursement for assigned clients; disseminates acquired knowledge to Operations personnel
Develops billing policies and procedures for new technology and services, and obtains timely Client approval for implementation.
Plans, directs and coordinates the staff and activities of an assigned area, ensuring project milestones and budgetary objectives are maintained.
Responsible for attaining and maintaining Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for functional areas as defined by corporate and client agreement.
Conducts period meetings with key personnel and management to ensure operational objectives are met.
Recruit, Train and Develop Operations Personnel
Responsible for developing and training Operations Supervisor’s to build supervisor skills necessary to meet performance expectations and deliver quality service.
Coordinate and assist in the implementation of functional area-directed training programs.
Identify and implement additional training as appropriate to the specific sub-functional area needs.
Develop mechanisms to process new business and integrate into new or existing office locations.
Work with the Vice President of Operations to clearly understand and clarify expectations of new business clients and effectively install new accounts to meet these expectations.
Revenue Cycle Analysis
Designs and compiles periodic revenue cycle reports for management to include analysis of revenue and medical service activity.
Deliver recurring (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.) reports as requested by Vice President of Operations.
Focuses efforts on trending analysis, daily dashboards and ad hoc requests.
Acts of negative reporting trends to better meet the client’s Service Level Commitments.
Knowledgeable of all corporate resources available; appropriately and knowledgeably calls upon corporate’s resources when necessary.
Provide strong and confident interface between corporate management, the client, and areas for which responsible.
Insures that Vice President of Operations receives important client and administrative information in a timely manner.
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Health Administration or similar and a minimum of 5 years of managing multiple clients of varying levels of complexity or an equivalent amount of education and experience of multiple priorities.
