That's why someday, you will look back at the things you achieved here and realize that you did your life's best work.(sm) Primary Responsibilities: Gather and analyze business requirements, while leveraging knowledge of healthcare and clinical systems and data Create and interpret functional and technical specifications and design documents Lead analysis projects to build and extend the capabilities and architecture of the Data Warehouse Analyze new data sources of health claims, member, clinical, and financial data for integration into existing data models Collaborate with QA and development teams to ensure a high level of data integrity and quality for processes involving large volumes of data Guide, train, instruct and assist team members to create and interpret business and technical specifications and designs Understand the business and how various data elements and subject areas are utilized in order to develop and deliver data dictionaries, data mappings and user-friendly metadata documentation
Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience 2+ years of full Business and Systems Analysis experience 2+ years of professional IT experience in a large, enterprise environment Knowledge of SDLC processes, roles, responsibilities and deliverables Experience creating clear functional requirements documents, technical specifications and other technical documentation Preferred Qualifications: Healthcare industry experience Data Warehouse and / or Data Modeling / Architect experience Experience in a Business Intelligence environment Metadata management experience Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills Careers with UnitedHealthcare.
