Non-Profit professional membership association is currently seeking an experienced Database Developer. The Database Developer will the manage strategic planning for databases and web integration, requirements gathering and analysis, database design, system implementation and database reporting. Manage database upgrades, maintenance, data integrity, end-user training and support. Manage SharePoint administration. Prior experience working in a non-profit organization desirable.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Administrate database including maintenance, backup, jobs, stored procedures, views, upgrade, reporting and auditing.
Analyze, design and develop database systems across the organization, including add-on programs.
Administrate web integration that will maintain the integrity of the association’s databases, collaborate with Director of Web Services on projects.
Design and develop Business Intelligence (BI) and dashboard report.
Provide end user support for database/reporting applications as required.
Develop and deliver database and reports training for entire association staff as appropriate.
Troubleshoot database issues and assist with problems on individual financial transactions to ensure accurate recording of financial data.
Maintain an overview of current procedures and workflow in the use of databases for the entire organization enabling the design of solutions for new programs and policies that fit into AWHONN’s practices and procedures without disrupting those currently in place. Develops and documents new system procedures as appropriate.
BA degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent.
Over 5 years related professional experience, preferred with non-profit association experience.
Working knowledge and experience with Microsoft SharePoint
Experience with Microsoft SQL 2012/2014/2016
Experience with SQL programming, views, stored procedures, permission, roles and schemas
Experience with reporting/dashboard tool, Tableau, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Microsoft Power BI
Experience with Association Management System (AMS), YourMembership (YM) and iMIS preferred
Experience with API development
Demonstrated ability to clearly and effectively communicate technical information to non-technical people both verbally and in writing.
Demonstrated strong project management skills.
Excellent interpersonal customer service skills.
Microsoft certification Plus
