The primary responsibility of the role will include managing the Enterprise reporting and Salesforce CRM teams. This position will oversee the progress for all projects within BI and CRM areas and effectively manage resources to deliver reliable and timely results. This position will be responsible for strategic planning and management of delivery of business intelligence analytics, data warehouse technology solutions, establishing data governance across the university systems and implementation of Salesforce CRM.
Manage the design, development and maintenance of Salesforce CRM
Evaluate, recommend, implement, and maintain reporting and analytical tools
Create and manage BI strategy and implementation project roadmap
Manage the design, development, and delivery of self-service infrastructure and business intelligence (BI) content including reports and dashboards to business professionals using the WebFocus BI
Direct the progress of all projects within the BI portfolio working with business stakeholders and BI team
Establish a Data Governance strategy for area of responsibility and oversee Data Governance activities specific to the stewardship of data to drive consistent definition, data usage and quality
Minimum Experience / Education:
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
Master’s Degree Preferred
10+ years of related Business Intelligence and Analytics and reporting work experience
5+ years in a management role
Must have experience designing, developing, and maintaining Salesforce CRM
Experience developing BI and Analytics strategy and requirements, including demonstrated success working with senior executives
Higher Education industry experience a plus
Strong understanding of SDLC and a passion to move the team towards a more process oriented environment
Strong understanding of business intelligence concepts including data analysis, data mining with experience in applying these concepts in data warehouse environments
