The Application Support Analyst is responsible for the implementation, maintenance and support of Korman Communities business systems for the Corporate Office and both brands, AKA and AVE.
This position reports to the Director of Information Technology, but also works closely with the IT team to support users as part of the Korman Communities Help Desk.
The candidate will need to learn and understand the business software in order to deliver the highest quality result. Once an application has been implemented the Applications Support Analyst will continue to be involved in supporting the application to ensure continued company success and satisfaction. Support includes answering routine questions, updating documents, and working with the software vendor to update the application.
Implementation and Support Responsibilities
Work side-by-side with all departments (financial, sales, marketing, revenue and on site team members) to automate and better manage their practices by providing real-time solutions to their business needs
Responsible for full life cycle implementations for business applications including requirements gathering, drafting documentation, preparing mockups, installing systems, QA/Testing, training, and follow-up
Excellent communication and writing skills are a must.
Prepare flowcharts and workflow spreadsheets, translating business processes into a step-by-step procedure, and will apply them into the application
Interact with software vendors in order to fulfill additional development-oriented requirements
Ongoing support of all applications (currently used few systems are Yardi, Maestro, Oscar, DataVision, Voice Agent/ Synxis, POS)
Assist with documentation - Operations Manuals, “How-To” Guides, and Policy & Procedures for non-programming tasks
Work with Training Support staff to provide post-Implementation updates to workflows and documents

Experience with property management system support: apartment, corporate housing, hotel or similar.
Exceptional proficiency in general computer and software skills
Extremely detail-focused and have a high standard for work and work ethic
Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work effectively with minimal supervision
Interfacing with executives, onsite team members and 3rd Party Software Vendors (Contracts)
Install & troubleshoot various software.
Setup new hires (Active directory and other software’s)
Maintain IT inventory including hardware and software.
Vendor Management. Resolving issues with vendors support as needed.
Resolve issues in person and via remote software
Manage and utilize the IT ticketing system.
Create, manage and terminate user account and manage security profiles for all systems.
Undertake and Support sites and document the results with proper follow-up.
Answer the Help Desk phone and emails in courteous and friendly manner.
Hands-On Web Applications and Database Experience / Implementation
Financial, Property Management and Sales software implementation and support experience
Online Payment, ACH and Credit Card system implementation and support experience
Advance knowledge in MS Office Suite – Excel, Word, Outlook, Office 365, Adobe
