The Workforce Analytics Consultant is responsible to provide meaningful analysis, interpretation and solutions of workforce data, data mining, quantitative and qualitative research, metrics, benchmarking, and workforce market data. This position will assist department in running reports, provide descriptive and predictive analytics and successful data based strategies to improve the workforce performance, recruitment, HR operations, and talent delivery of Sinai Health System.
This consultant works to manage the planning, creation and implementation of analytics and process improvements for HR. Also, the position is responsible for gathering information, driving data consistency and quality, process improvement, best practice and innovation to support fact-based decision making. Manage the identification, development, implementation, continuous improvement and administration of core business metrics, determine required data and analytics and produce HR dashboards. Identify new and existing tools/systems to support the Human Resources function as well as other talent-related information needs. Collaborates with subject matter experts across the HR service areas to improve overall strategic insights.
Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities:
Utilize benchmarking and best practice to design, analyze, report and continuously improve actionable, proactive metrics and HR metrics.
Lead applied research studies to evaluate the effectiveness of workforce management programs; translate key findings into clear, actionable insights and recommendations to inform decision-making.
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders; provide on-going collaboration and consultation to inform how best to leverage data insights to address business needs.
Gather data from various sources (e.g., employee surveys, archival data); evaluate and assimilate information to deliver accurate and insightful analyses
Design and manage HR status reporting process as well as collection and reporting of all data for HR scorecards and KPIs.
Works with HR functional leaders to develop process improvement efforts to maximize department and organization ability to achieve goals and strategies.
Assist with the development and implementation of analysis, predictive analytics, and workforce and visualization tools to provide leadership with people trends and insights.
Maintains and enhances existing programs; develops project plans for implementation of new programs to support system HR service delivery.
Partners with OD & Compensation is creating and overseeing performance management systems to drive and reward talent for performance
Serve as a project lead for various HR process improvement projects
Provides expertise as it relates to best practices and industry trends in HR analytics.
Assist with all functions of HR governance.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s Degree in I/O, Statistics, Business, Human Resources, Finance, Economics or related subject area.
3+ years of relevant experience in the HR or Process Improvement field
Six Sigma, LEAN, Process Improvement experience preferred.
Expansive knowledge of metrics, data and business intelligence strategies
Creditable messenger and able to present to all levels of organization
Consultative, critical thinking and analytic skills with ability to operate strategically and build effective partnerships across multiple stakeholder groups
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate analytics and analytical insights to a non-technical audience
Ability to manage ambiguity, risk, and changing direction of projects and strategies
