TriVox Health (TVH) Epilepsy Project: Working alongside the project manager to provide implementation support for the Epilepsy/Seizure Diary module of TVH by:
Registering patients and managing questionnaire scheduling according to established protocol.
Acting as Epilepsy/Seizure Diary point person for families and staff.
Maintaining and developing new methods/tools needed to obtain, record, monitor, analyze, and present patient recruitment, implementation data, and other key information.
Writing and presenting Epilepsy/Seizure Diary module abstracts, poster presentations, and articles.
Neurology Quality Improvement (QI) Support: Assisting in the execution of existing and new QI tasks and initiatives using project management and QI methodologies by:
Processing data requests using Business Intelligence database.
Coordinating and facilitating Neurology QI Book Club.
Providing logistical meetings management support.
Helping develop and implement data collection instruments and survey forms.
Preparing summary reports of data and project findings according to project needs
Conducting literature searches.
Providing data collection, management, and analysis support.
Maintaining and developing dashboards to track performance, highlighting opportunities for improvement.
Providing mentorship to interns and other Department staff on QI methodologies as needed.
Writing and presenting QI abstracts, poster presentations, and articles.
To qualify, you must have:
A Bachelor degree in life, social science or closely related field.
1 year of relevant experience. Experience and interest in QI, health administration, public health, and/or medicine is a plus.
Solid experience using Excel (Pivot Tables/Charts), REDCap, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and SAS/STATA a plus.
Strong sense of accountability/responsibility; strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
Desire for learning with initiative to do so. A passion for thinking of ways to problem solve and improve processes and outcomes.
Communication skills in order to effectively deal with conflicting views or issues, mediate fair solutions, provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations, and well-developed writing skills.
Passion for quality improvement; a “go-getter” attitude with great interpersonal skills who enjoys working with others.
Experience with project management and QI methodologies/tools (LEAN, Six Sigma, Model for Improvement, PDSA Cycles, Root Cause Analysis, run/control, and pareto charts, etc.) is a plus.
